The Cort CR200 is a single-cut electric guitar that, thanks to its affordable price and quality workmanship, is sure to appeal to young rock aspirants and experienced, technically skilled players alike.
The body of the guitar is made of mahogany. The glued, also mahogany, neck is fitted with a fingerboard made of jatoba wood, known as Brazilian cherry, fitted with twenty-two frets. Positioning blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl facilitate orientation on its surface.
Two PAF pickups inspired by ClassicRocker II humbuckers with Alnico II magnets give the guitar a full rock sound, but also a nice clean sound when needed. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust it. Guiding the strings through the Graphtech NuBone zero fret and securing them in the strings via a solid Tune-O-Matic tailpiece ensures optimal transmission of string vibrations to the body of the instrument. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by vintage-style tuning machines, nickel hardware, a bright pickguard and the company logo on the headstock.
