This bass guitar is one of the instruments from the AE model series, which, thanks to its larger body, are directly created for playing live - both acoustically and after connecting to equipment. Of course, these instruments are very well made and sound, which you would expect from much more expensive instruments.
The back plate, front plate and sides of the instrument are made of laminated sapele wood. The neck is made of a combination of nyatoha and maple, the fingerboard and bridge are made of walnut wood. In addition, the bridge is shaped in such a way that it optimally transmits the vibrations of the string and thus achieves the best possible sound. The thumb rest, made of merbau wood, guarantees comfort while playing.
The under-bridge piezo pickup takes care of the sound, complemented by the Ibanez AEQ-2T electronics, which, in addition to the integrated tuner, also provides you with a two-band equalizer and volume control.
