British brand Tanglewood introduces more affordable acoustic guitars in retro and modern designs. The TW40 SD VS E is a Dreadnought Slope Shoulder electro-acoustic guitar with a semi-massive body construction. The solid spruce soundboard is complemented by a plywood mahogany back and sides. The figured fig fingerboard is divided by twenty frets and white position dots.
The sound system is powered by Fishman Sonitone electronics, with the controls subtly set into the guitar's soundhole. The strings are held in chrome tuning machines and a walnut fingerboard. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the bright binding, the Vintage Sunburst Gloss top color finish and a handy pickguard that protects the instrument's glossy lacquer from scratches.
